13 Things to Know About the Charts This Week: DJ Khaled Is the One at No. 1


It's business as usual for Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito," featuring Justin Bieber, which tallies its eighth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Plus, DJ Khaled scores his second No. 1 on the billboard 200 with Grateful, and Imagine Dragons leap to the top of the Billboard Artist 100. According to Billboard here are 13 other things you should know about Billboard's charts this week:


1. He's the (number) one! DJ Khaled scores his first leader on the Hot R&B Songs chart, as "Wild Thoughts," featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller, climbs 2-1.

2. We're about one-third of the way through the summer and "Despacito" is the front-runner on Billboard's Songs of the Summer chart.

3. Kendrick Lamar's DAMN. and Ed Sheeran's ÷ (Divide) dominate Nielsen Music's 2017 mid-year album charts.

4. Drake's "Signs" debuts at No. 36 on the Hot 100, extending his record for most entries among soloists to 157.

5. Prince and the Revolution's classic 1984 Purple Rain soundtrack re-enters the Billboard 200 at No.

4 and debuts at No. 1 on the R&B Albums chart, thanks to its new deluxe remastered reissue.
