The first rule of makeup 101? Always use a foundation that matches your skin tone! It's, uh, a little easier said than done, though — especially if you're looking especially tan in this summer —or especially pale in the winter.

When it comes to following that No. 1 rule, these celebrities are struggling. Kylie Jenner, Ariana Grande, and JoJo Fletcher have all had major makeup blending blunders and, just like anyone could be, have been guilty of wearing the wrong foundation shade.

We do have one question, though — how did this happen? Look, we've all been there. But these ladies are stars. Don't they have professionals whose sole jobs are to make sure their foundations are exactly their shade? Or at least do some kind of makeup magic if they're not? And now that Kylie Jenner has Kylie Cosmetics she is the professional!
