Lil Wayne Teases 'Dedication 6' Mixtape

It's been four years since Lil Wayne released the fifth installment of his Dedication mixtape series and despite his current legal woes, Wayne may be ready to unleash a new 'tape very soon. On Sunday night (Sept. 24), he posted an image of himself and producer Scott Storch in a studio and teased the release of Dedication 6.

"Who ready 4 dat D6??? drop YM sh!t !!," Weezy wrote under the photo. While it's not the sequel project that fans have been most patiently waiting for from Wayne, it would be the first full project from the rapper since the 4-track EP In Tune We Trust, released in July.

DJ Drama, who created the Dedication mixtape series with Wayne, previously teased the upcoming project on his Snapchat story by posting an image of an airport gate sign (which read D 6) and wrote "New Orleans. It was only right!!!! Soon....." On Sept. 21, Mack Maine, president of Young Money Entertainment, sent out a cryptic "#D6" tweet, which was then retweeted by DJ Drama, further hinting at the release of the long-awaited mixtape.
