This is so sad. Like many of the girls who were featured on 16 and Pregnant, season 5’s Jordan Cashmyer has mostly stayed out of the public eye since her episode of the MTV reality series aired back in 2014 — and now, eagle-eyed fans on reddit claim they've found her on an escorting website.
In screenshots from the site, a woman who reddit users believe to be the mother-of-one is posing in her underwear and bra in what appears to be a hotel bathroom with a male companion. Many reddit users also remarked at the woman’s alarmingly thin appearance. One user wrote, “She looks so frail and unhealthy… This poor girl.” Another remarked, “She looks so ill, it’s heartbreaking.”

Since her appearance on the reality show, the 22-year-old has concerned fans with her troubling behavior. In 2014, she was working at a strip club and confessed that her struggles with not only mental health but also substance abuse had taken such a toll that she attempted to take her own life. She opened about how her life began to spiral after experiencing postpartum depression following the birth of her daughter, Genevieve.
“For the past two years, I have struggled with addiction… I practically used my body as a trashcan and would put whatever was given to me in my body. I got to the point where I wanted to die. I had lost everything I cared about in life and felt that I had nothing to live for, so I was hospitalized for a little over a week,” she wrote in a blog post just months before checking in to rehab in June 2014.
She continued, “I was hospitalized twice after my 20th birthday for pancreatitis due to heavy drinking and borderline alcohol poisoning.” After she stopped drinking, she explained, she moved on to heavier drugs. “I turned to cocaine. The worst part about that was that I hated the way it made me feel, completely negative and numb, a total opposite of who I am, but I continued to do it because I felt as though I’d rather feel nothing than feel what I felt… I would take whatever else was offered to me. Whether it was coke, Xanax, whatever, I would take it, which damn near could’ve killed me.”
While it has yet to be confirmed whether or not it’s Jordan featured on the site, she wouldn’t be the first 16 and Pregnant alum to find herself on this troubling road; the late Valerie Fairman — who was featured on the show’s second season — was arrested for prostitution in 2015. Like Jordan, Valerie struggled with substance abuse and attempted rehab on multiple occasions before her death at the age of 23 in late 2016.
