Kylie Jenner sued for allegedly copying British artist's 'lip bite' work

Kylie Jenner is being sued by a British artist for reportedly copying a “lip bite” design and displaying it in the reality star’s advertisement promoting her new television show.

Sara Pope, a contemporary artist known for her “pop lips art,” has sued the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star after Jenner’s latest advertisement for her new show, “Life of Kylie,” featured a bright pair of pink lips surrounded by neon lights, according to TMZ.

The design is apparently similar to Pope’s “Temptation Neon” artwork, which she created in 2015. The work is Pope’s most famous piece.

Pope is also suing E!’s parent company, NBC Universal.

This is not the first time Jenner has been accused of ripping off another person’s work.  In 2016, Jenner was accused of duplicating beauty vlogger Shannon Harris’ eyeshadow palette.
